Abstractions - I wish this wasn't alphabetically first, because it's kinda hard to describe these...

Actual Comic - When I actually made something resembling a traditional comic.

Alcohol - Bottoms up! (Note: I don't actually endorse drinking.)

Aliens - "Elderly Apple phone home..."

Anachronism - History is all screwed up in the Microcosm.

Anatomy - The human body has different parts. I sometimes do stuff with them. Wait, let me rephrase that...

Anger - These ideas need to control their temper.

Animals - I love animals. Maybe you do, too. If you're not sure, click to find out.

Appliances - They're more than just wedding gifts now!

Architecture - Frank Gehry would be proud of these ideas!

Art - Something many people argue I have no sense of.

Bad Puns - I hate puns. HATE them. And yet, even I crumple like a stale cookie and use them sometimes. You can use this as my official apology for every time I do.

Balloon - To be honest, there's usually more than on.

Beauty - Whether you think it's skin deep or not, it's covered here.

Behind the Scenes - I show you what happens behind the canvas (er, sketchpad).

Biology - I'm not a fan of biology, but I still exploit it to my own ends.

Blasphemy - The God-fearing should avoid this, lest risk damnation.

Boats - They're on a boat.

Bones - Without bones, all our muscles would just crumple to the ground.

Breakfast - It's the most important meal of the day!

Building - Similar to "Architecture", but more complete.

Business - I have a B.S. in Business Administration. I have the right to bring it up.

Cafes - Places where people eat and drink sometimes.

Candy - You don't need to steal any from babies if you click here.

Celestial - Involves stuff past the stratosphere.

Centennial - Every 100 days, you'll see one of these.

Cleaning - Making sure things are neat and spotless.

Clothing - Clothing is a critical part of our modern society. Without it we'd all be naked.

Clouds - Clouds are wonderful things for the imagination, and they make frequent appearances.

Clumsy - Some people are suave. These ideas aren't.

Commerce - You have two cows...

Communication - Let's not have a breakdown of this.

Competition - Going head-to-head has never been so much fun! Unless it was a "Pure Fun" competition. I can't top that.

Computers - I'm still not convinced about all this "computer" "technology" the kids talk about.

Cool - I wish I were like these ideas.

Crime - It doesn't pay.

Curiosity - I ain't going to say a word about this. 'Cause you see, that will make you curious, and thus more likely to click on the link. Clever, eh?

Cyclical - These are ideas that loop on themselves, essentially becoming infinite. I should have done more of them.

Daily Drudgery - For some reason, this is - by far - my most popular topic.

Dancing - Bust a move to get jiggy with these ideas.

Danger - Look out!

Desert - Deserts are hot, full of sand, and fun to draw.

Dinosaur - They're extinct, but don't tell them that.

Diplomacy - Countries don't always get along. That doesn't mean they don't try.

Disdain - You may grow to hate these.

Diseases and Disorders - *Cough*

Dreams - Dreams are a great source of inspiration sometimes. Other times, I have inspirations about dreams.

EA Classics - These are the origin of Elderly Apple, made before the comic even existed. Back then, I only had 8 markers, 8 colored pencils, and even worse drawing skills.

Eables - Eables are a species unique to Elderly Apple and the Microcosm. What are they? Umm...furballs with googly eyes and skinny appendages. Yeah, that's about right.

Education - I'm a fan of higher learning, and so are these ideas!

Electricity - Shocking, isn't it?

Entertainment - Are you not entertained? ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!

Espionage - Don't be surprised to find a cloak and/or dagger with googly eyes in here.

Ethnic Stereotypes - I'm not racist!

Evil - These ideas want to plot your untimely demise.

Exploration - You never know what you'll find here.

Explosions - If you don't like these, you obviously aren't American.

Failure - You can play that losing theme from "The Price is Right" with these.

Fame - I'm gonna live forever!

Family - Sometimes families get along. Sometimes not. But we can all agree, they exist.

Fan Art - Some people like Elderly Apple enough to make fan art. I'm not one to judge.

Fantasy - Harken to ye days of mythes and magicks!

Fashion - Work it baby, work it!

Fear - Don't turn out the lights. Or do. I'm not your boss.

Fetish - Um, kinky?

Fighting - This is a tribute to when we can't get along.

Fire - "Conflagrated" is a good word, wouldn't you say?

Food - Yumyum!

Freedom - Excuse me, FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOMM!!!!!!

Friendship - Everyone needs a friend. Even fictional cartoon characters.

Fungi - Parasites of the plant world, these fun guys are sometimes misunderstood.

Gambling - Do ya feel lucky, punk? Do ya?

Games - Would you like to play?

Geology/Geography - This covers both the land under your feet, and the representation of the land under your feet.

Geometry - Circles, triangles, and always the crowd favorite, trapezoids.

Ghosts - Jinkies, gang! What could be the cause of all these g-g-g-g-ghosts?

Government - Of the people (the Microcosm), by the people (me), and for people (you).

Gross - Ewwwww.....

Groups - The more, the merrier!

Happiness - :D Smile!

Health - Eat right, get some exercise, and look at these ideas.

High-Class - Make sure you're wearing a suit and tie before entering.

Honor - For your name, and family, check out these!

Horror - Grab a bag of popcorn and a girlfriend when viewing these.

Human - Humans live in the Microcosm, too.

Hunger - If that your stomach growling, or mine?

Hygiene - Hi, Gene!

I.M. Meen - It's an obsession I have.

Ideas - Well, technically, all of these are ideas, but these are ideas about ideas. Meta, eh?

Insane - These ideas need therapy.

Insects - They have more legs than you or I. That's something.

Instruments - Both musical and practical, you can do things with instruments.

Irish - Straight from the Emerald Isle to your computer screen!

Journalism - Where's my Pulitzer?

Language - ¿Como se dice Elderly Apple?

Law - Not very much order, though.

Laziness - I think that's what it is; I didn't actually check.

Light - You can view these in the dark.

Literal Interpretation - There are certain expressions that could mean something else when interpreted literally. These are some of them.

Love - It's all you need. These are often more feel-good.

Machines - Gears, cogs, and the like.

Magic - This covers both David Copperfield-style magic, and the actual kind.

Masks - We're talking about physical ones, not those emotional ones.

Math - If you can't do 2+3, stay clear.

Mean - These ideas aren't good role models.

Meat - Vegetarians, do not click that link.

Medieval - Covers stuff that may have occurred (but probably didn't) from the 5th to 16th centuries.

Microcosm - Everything takes place here; why not have some actual ideas about it?

Microscopic - No microscope needed; I draw them big.

Milestones - I occasionally reach milestones. I make note of them.

Modern Life - Social satire? Probably not, but still worth looking at.

Money - What's that?

Monster - Rawr! Claws, fangs, and the like wait for you here.

Music - It's like music to your ears...wait, there are several reasons why that doesn't work.

Mystery - What was that?

Mythology - Here there be dragons...and chimeras...and Zeus.

Natural Disasters - Nature hates us sometimes.

Nerds and Geeks - NEEEERRRDS!

Night - These don't happen during the day. Sunglasses optional.

Ninja - You didn't see anything.

Objects - My catch-all. If there's an object in it, you'll see it here.

Old - Get off my lawn!

Pain - Ouch! Don't click so hard.

Paperwork - Fun stuff!

Patriotism - Make sure you salute as you look at these ideas.

Peace - I give it a chance occasionally.

Pets - Not all animals roam free. These are some of them.

Philosophy - No need for a philosophy degree here. In fact, I would prefer you didn't have one.

Photographs - Not all pictures are drawn.

Piracy - Yarr, maties!

Places - You ever been somewhere. Wow, me too!

Plants - Plants are just like animals...hermaphroditic animals that use photosynthesis to create energy. And are often immobile. And are really not like animals, very much. :(

Plot??? - Plot is a bad thing in Elderly Apple. It doesn't belong.

Politics - Politics are often boring. Not here!

Poor - You have money? Then you're better off then these ideas.

Proper Names - All the characters here actually have names! It's like I have their birth certificates! I, uh, I don't. I swear. >_>

Provocative - Hey, sweet cheeks, check these out.

Psychology - Tell me how you feel...

Punishment - You won't face any by looking at these ideas.

Quite Morbid - Perfect for the goth/near-goth/pseudo-goth of the family. (Though probably not best for youngest kiddies.)

Recreation - Everyone needs to enjoy themselves!

Religious - If you looked at those "Blasphemy" ideas, you can redeem yourself by looking at these.

Revenge - It's a dish best served drawn.

Robot - Robots are awesome!

Royalty - "We ah not amused."

Sadness - Put on your Counting Crows CD before looking at these ideas.

Scandal - People are doing things! Alert the paparazzi!

Sci-Fi - Kind of like science, but more fictional.

Science - Bill Nye would be proud.

Sketches - Way back when, I used to sketch my ideas separately. These look at some.

Sky - Look up if you don't know what that is.

Sleep - Zzzzzzz.......

Small - Aww, they're so cute.

Smell - I can sometimes convey multiple sensations over the Internet. I'm good like that.

Smoking - If you smoke, maybe these will convince you otherwise.

Sneezing - Gesundheit!

Snow - I live in coastal California, the land the snow forgot. I live vicariously through my work.

Somewhat Disturbing - 86% guaranteed to give you nightmares. (Another one the younger kiddies may not want to see.)

Sound - Can you hear me now?

Space - It's not the final for me, as I have plenty of ideas about it.

Spirituality - Find your zen with these ideas.

Sports - I don't do sports much, but you're not me, so who am I to talk.

Sun - Mine wears sunglasses, does yours?

Superhero - For truth, justice, and a free sandwhich on Thursdays when you buy one at equal or lesser price.

Supernatural - Natural stuff is boring. Supernatural is where it's at!

Surreal - I occasionally channel Dali.

Survival - These ideas will soon have their own show on the Discovery channel.

Technology - I'm still not convinced about all this "computer" "technology" the kids talk about.

Television - I haven't actually watched TV in a long time. That doesn't stop me from using it as a prop, though!

The Little Crab - Ah, The Little Crab, the closest thing I have to a recurring character. He sits there...watching...waiting...plotting...

Theatrics - Why settle for subtlety?

Time - You're wasting it here.

Tools - If you're a handyman, you need these.

Top Hat - I have a weird obsession with top hats.

Toys and Dolls - Playtime...is over.......wait, no it's not.

Transportation - People need to get from place to place. They have ways of doing that. That's called transportation.

Treasure - No need to go digging for it here.

Ugly as Sin - Occasionally, my creations are so hideous that not even their creator can lie and say they're beautiful.

Ungulate - These are hoofed animals. I thought that merited distinction.

Videos - When static images aren't enough.

WAAAAAAAHHH - WAAAAAAAHHH!!!

War and Military - This is what happens when you read too much Sun Tzu.

Water - Water makes up 75% of the earth. It's also in a lot of my ideas.

Weapon - If the pen is mightier than the sword, you had a pretty lame sword. These weapons are far superior to any pens you'll find.

Weather - My weather predictions are as accurate as your basic TV weatherman. In other words, terrible.

Weird - ???

Western - Listen to some Ennio Morricone while looking at these ideas.

Wheels - Wheels sometimes make things better.

Whimsy - I honestly wish the world were like this.

Wings - Wheels sometimes make things better. Wings always make them better.

Wisdom - Whether you subscribe to Confucious or the Magic 8 Ball, these ideas are for you.

Work - These ideas are lucky to have a job.
